What did you do prior to seminary entrance?
Attended high school.

What influenced your decision to enter the seminary?
The counsel and assistance of several priest friends, daily rosary and Eucharistic Adoration.

Why do you want to be a priest?
I hope to serve Christ and his bride, the Church, and to help bring all people closer to God.

What did your family and friends think about your decision to enter the seminary?
My friends, especially my close friends, were supportive, even though many of them were not Catholic. My family took time to warm up to the idea but they are happy that I am happy here.

What do you do for fun?
I really like to play soccer and racquetball. I like to kayak, hike and sometimes just take a walk. I also like reading many different kinds of books.

Who is your favorite Saint?
Saint Augustine of Hippo

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the seminary?
Give it a try. If one thinks that he is called, I think it would be much better to explore the possibility than to do otherwise and think of what might have been. Be courageous, take the step and God will do the rest.
