Vocation Awareness Week Video - ft. Bishop Robert Barron

Across the United States, Vocation Awareness Week 2021 will be celebrated from November 7th - 13th. This annual week-long celebration is designed to raise awareness of, and promote vocations to, the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life.  During Vocation Awareness Week, the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood invites you to pray for those men and women in formation, as well as for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Mass for Vocations - Sunday, November 7, 2021 - St. Eleanor Parish, Collegeville

All are invited to gather for the Opening Mass for Vocation Awareness Week on Sunday, November 7th at Noon.  Fr. David Friel will be the Celebrant at the Noon Mass at St. Eleanor Parish, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville.


Holy Hour for Vocations - Tuesday, November 9, 2021 - Nativity of Our Lord, Warminster

On Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00 PM, all are invited to gather in prayer at a Holy Hour for Vocations at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Parish (605 W. Street Road, Warminster).  We encounter Christ in the Eucharist and it is in His presence that He wants to speak to us.  A flyer and image for use on social media are provided below!

 Mass and Dinner for Young Adults - Wednesday, November 10, 2021 - Catholic Center for Young Adults (CCYA)

Young Adults are invited to gather with the CCYA Community and Fr. Friel and the Seminarians for Mass and Dinner on Wednesday, November 10 at 6:30 PM.   Mass will be held in the Upper Church at St. Stanislaus Parish (240 Fitzwater Street, Philadelphia) followed by dinner and a Seminarian Panel.  A flyer and image for use on social media are provided below!

Vocation Awareness Day - Thursday, November 11, 2021 - St. Charles Borromeo Seminary

Vocation Awareness Day:  To the Heights! will be held on Thursday, November 11th at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.   Focusing on our theme for this year, To the Heights!​, talks will focus on various aspects of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati's life. Students in Grades 7 to 12 from the Regina Academies and other classical schools, as well as homeschooled families/co-ops, are invited to gather with Fr. Friel and some of the Philadelphia Seminarians for a day of great talks, activities, Mass and lunch.  The day begins at 9:30 am and will end at approximately 1:00 pm.  For more information, or to register your students, please contact Sue Matour, Associate Director, at



Holy Hour for Vocations (in Spanish) - Friday, November 12, 2021 - St. Charles Borromeo, Bensalem

On Friday, November 12th at 7:00 PM, the Vocation Office will host a Holy Hour for Vocations (in Spanish) at 7:00 PM at St. Charles Borromeo Parish (Bristol Pike & Hulmeville Road, Bensalem); Fr. Manuel Flores, Celebrant.   Spend time before the Blessed Sacrament as we pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life.


Vocation Basketball - Saturday, November 13, 2021 - Epiphany of Our Lord / Holy Rosary Regional School, Plymouth Meeting


On Saturday, November 13th at 10:00 AM, all are invited to watch a lively game of basketball between Seminarian Vocation Basketball team play the local CYO team from Holy Rosary Regional School (next door to Epiphany of Our Lord, Plymouth Meeting)!  During halftime, seminarians will share their vocation stories!  For more information, or to host the Seminarian team at your parish, contact Shane Flanagan, Seminarian Coordinator, at
