This Vocation Awareness Week (November 1-7, 2020) let us pray that you may discover your God given purpose, your Vocation. Let us pray that wherever you are being called you may have the courage to heed the call.

Across the United States, Vocation Awareness Week 2020 will be celebrated from November 1st - 7th. This annual week-long celebration is designed to raise awareness of, and promote vocations to, the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life. During Vocation Awareness Week, the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood invites you to pray for those men and women in formation, as well as for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Bible Novena - September 2020 to May 2021
Over the course of 9 months, from September 2020 to May 2021, the Vocation Office along with faithful of the Archdiocese will be proclaiming the Bible in its entirety. On the first and third Sunday of each month, starting September 6, 2020 and going through May 16, 2021, we will be posting videos of the proclamations of each book of the Bible, in order. In addition, reflections on various topics, persons or events, that have a vocational component will be posted bi-weekly on our website and social media pages.
All are invited to read along with us, and to delve deeper into their faith as they contemplate the inspired Word of God.
You can find the readings and reflections along with occasional reflection questions both on our website, HeedtheCall.org/BibleNovena, and on Facebook, @PhillyPriest. We invite you to read along with us and share your own reflections as you enter into this Novena Pilgrimage with us.
