Come & See:
Discernment Opportunities

There are great opportunities for men who are discerning their vocation to explore the possibility of their own call to the priesthood.
Come & See events offer men in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia considering their vocation the opportunity to visit St. Charles Borromeo Seminary to see what seminary life is like and explore a possible call to the priesthood.
Thank you for your interest in our discernment opportunities!  Come & See events offer a man who is actively pursuing a call to the priesthood the opportunity to spend time at the Seminary, to meet and pray with the seminarians and with other men who are exploring the possibility of a call to the priesthood.

Come & See events are held separately for high school men and for those who have graduated from high school throughout the academic year, with the last occuring in March.

Weekend Retrets include daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, inspiring talks and fellowship.  If you would like information on Weekends for the 2026-2027 academic year, please contact Fr. Sean English at 610-667-5778.

Shadow Days

High school men, juniors and seniors, or men who have already graduated from high school, are invited to shadow a seminarian for a day to attend classes and experience daily life at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. Space is limited to ensure the best shadow experience possible.

For more details, or to schedule a visit to the Seminary, contact Fr. Sean English, Vocation Director at VocationDirector@archphila.org or 610-667-5778.
