Since March 2022, we have been blessed to offer the opportunity for the lay faithful to gather weekly before the Blessed Sacrament at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary to pray intentionally for vocations. With the move to the Lower Gwynedd Campus in the Fall of 2024, the number of adorers has fluctuated, leaving the Blessed Sacrament unattended at various times throughout the day. We are grateful to those who make the commitment to travel to the Seminary and pray; however, we also recognize that we must have someone in the Chapel at all times so that the Blessed Sacrament is never left alone.
Therefore, as we work to increase the number of regular adorers, adoration before the Blessed Sacrament at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary will now be held on the first Thursday of each month, rather than weekly. As the number of regular adorers increases, additional weeks will be added. This change will go into effect next week, Thursday, February 5, 2026.
We ask that you please encourage others to pray for vocations and to consider coming to St. Charles Seminary to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

It is the fervent desire of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to encourage the lay faithful to pray before the Most Blessed Sacrament on the day when the Eucharist and Priesthood were instituted by Christ to pray for our priests, seminarians, and an increase in Vocations to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ!
