This is a film about the first Black Catholic Priest in the United States and his heroic journey towards the Priesthood. Being born into slavery in 1854, he faced many adversities and obstacles. However, this is the story of his perseverance through it all. The film displays the shining example he can be for men everywhere who are faced with obstacles when responding to a call the Priesthood.
