Reflection on God’s Faithfulness
God has called you by name, and you are His. He is always faithful to us, and when we stray, we can always repent and come back to Him. Reflect on God’s faithfulness with Sue Matour, Associate Director of the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood, as we continue in the sixth month of the Bible Novena.
We invite you to prayerfully ponder reflection questions:
- God has called you by name and you are His. Take 2-5 minutes to reflect on Isaiah 43:1-2. How is God speaking to you through this verse?
- God promises, “When you pass through the water, I will be with you; in the rivers you shall not drown.” Reflect on God’s faithfulness. Ask Him to walk with you through your life and reveal to you how He’s been there for you.
- Solomon prays with his hands outstretched, asking for God’s forgiveness. God is always faithful and merciful, and forgives us when we come back to Him. How can you pray this week like Solomon with hands outstretched? (1 Kings 8:22-23, 33-34) Reflect on God’s “covenant of kindness” in your own life. (1 Kings 8:33-34).
